Linda Murray was born & raised in Raleigh, NC.  She received an Associate of Arts degree from Peace College.  She furthered her education at Meredith College earning a Bachelor of Arts degree & graduated with honors.

After relocating to Goldsboro in 1983, she worked in the banking industry for a period of 12 years.

Upon the birth of her daughter, she became a stay-at-home mom for a number of years.

In 2003 she re-entered the workforce and was employed as a part-time admin. asst. for Seymour Support Council.

In 2011, she began working for the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce as a part-time admin. asst.  Over the years, she has had the great opportunity to meet & assist so many people who walked through the Chamber doors.
